Recently I’ve been wanting more out of the projects I start.

This month I turned 24 which marks 10 years since I began coding, in that time I’ve created and worked on a lot of projects across lots of different categories.

For Context

I’ve made:

  • Tools
  • Web Apps
  • Websites
  • Mobile apps
  • APIs
  • Terminal based apps
  • AI Wrappers
  • IaC
  • Ans so much more

Although I’ve made many apps, I’ve never taken an app all the way from idea to monetization.

Most of my ideas begin and end in the same day. Even fewer make it past the moment I realise the scope, and only a handfull of those have actually been release.

This needs to change if I am ever going to create a successful business and start taking life into my own hands.

Today inspired by @levelsio 12 startups in 12 months challenge, from more than almost a decade ago, (I’m pretty late to the trend!) I’m also going to attempt creating 12 Products in 12 Months.

My Goals

  • Create Games, SaaS & B2C Products from idea to monetization
  • Build in public
  • Prove to myself that I can build real world products
  • Not allow my full time job to slow down my progress

I believe I can do this but thinking about something is always easier than doing the thing.

Products

The products I make this year will be added to this blog, if you’d like to follow along bookmark this page and check every couple of months.
